Herbert "Herbie" H. Stanfill, Jr.

Herbert “Herbie” H. Stanfill Jr., age 71 of Bradford, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at his home.  Herbie was born in Middlesborough, KY on March 2, 1951 to the (late) Herbert Hoover Sr. & Virginia “Ginny” (Jones) Stanfill; graduated High School in Munich, Germany and attended one year at Edison Community College, Piqua; was an U.S. Army veteran serving from 1972-1974; retired in 2018 from Crane Pumps and worked at Piqua Cinema for over 25+ years; a former member of Piqua and Troy Fish & Game; a member of the American Legion A.B. Cole Post #80, Covington; enjoyed watching action movies; loved cinema popcorn; enjoyed fishing and shooting his gun.  Preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Logan Paulsen; and two brothers, Jerry Stanfill & Rodney Stanfill.  Herbie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca “Becky” S. Stanfill; two daughters, Tiffany & husband, Bobby Moore of Springfield, OH and Nicole Stanfill of Covington; nine grandchildren, Halie Morris, Heather Paulsen, Zachary Paulsen, Kaden Moore, Khloe Moore, Kennedy Moore, Riley Stanfill, Taylor Stanfill, & Phoenix Stanfill; three sisters, Rhonda Cullinane of NY, Lois Carlene Antonelli of PA, Patricia Berello of FL; his dog, Baby Luna; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends..  Graveside Service at Gettysburg Cemetery following a visitation from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday, July 2nd, at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home.  Military Honors will be provided at the cemetery by the Veteran Elite Tribute Squad.  Procession from funeral home to Gettysburg Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Valley Hospice.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
