James “Jim” Carlyle Boram, age 69 of Covington, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Jim was born in Richmond, Indiana on June 16, 1953 to the (late) James & Josephine (Guerin) Boram; a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1974; enjoyed singing, including karaoke, bicycling, drones; loved ghost hunting and anything extra-terrestrial; he loved Marilyn Monroe and Olivia Newton-John. Preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Beverly S. (Boram) & Paul Yohey of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry A. & Cindy Boram of Piqua; nieces, Christina and her husband, Russell Sowers, Dawn & her husband, Jerry Smith, Heather Yohey & Steve Harpest, Nikki & husband, Jarvis Bodenmiller; nephews, Shane Yohey, Chad & wife, Stephanie Wright; great-nieces and nephews, Joshua & wife, Kenzie Smith, David & wife, Lexi Yohey, Austin Robinson, Tristin & wife, Addie Sowers, Leland Sowers, Brylee Yohey, Xavier Yohey, Reece Yohey, Meghan, Nicholas, & Carson Wright, Chalen & Laylah Pistole, Raven & Aubrey Bodenmiller; great-great-nieces, Jade Smith and Estella Soto-Sowers; other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Daryl Peeples officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
