James "Jim" Lewis Walters

James “Jim” Lewis Walters, age 68, died Tuesday, August 4, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home in New Carlisle.  He was born August 25, 1951 in Hope, KY to the late Lewis & Edna (Coffee) Walters; worked as an auctioneer for over 30 years; a member of the New Carlisle Church of Christ; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses & watching his grandkids play basketball.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clayton Walters; & brothers-in-law, Harold Miller, Wayne Thuma & Orville Cromwell.

Jim is survived by his children, Tony (Emily Mann) Walters of New Carlisle, Brandi (John) Fouts of Tipp City & Chris (Angela) Walters of Covington; 8 grandchildren, Robert Cisneros of New Carlisle, Kandis (Chad) Eshelman of Vandalia, Kevin Fouts of Columbus, Kasandra (Tomair) Demiryapar of Tipp City, Brittani Schoenlein of Tipp City, Cameron Schoenlein of Tipp City, Morgan (Matthew) Campbell of Covington & Claudia Harrington of Covington; 4 great grandchildren, Holden & Kaelyn Eshelman, Ieyden & Zeynep Demiryapar; siblings, Joyce Cromwell of MI, Clinton (Mary) Walters of Tampa, FL, Christine Miller of New Carlisle & Maxine Thuma of New Carlisle; & several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday at 3pm at Trostel Chapman Dunbar Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle with Pastor Jeremy Miller officiating.  Interment New Carlisle Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 1pm until time of service at the funeral home.  Services in care of Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.  COVID-19, if you feel concerns, please wear a mask.
