Janet L. DeMoss, age 87 of Bradford, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at Kettering Medical Center. Janet was born in Dayton, OH on March 3, 1934 to the (late) Walter Anthony & Mary Julia (Schwenkel) Brown; graduated as Salutatorian from Franklin High School, Class of 1952. Janet married Robert Eugene DeMoss on June 15, 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2014, with 62 years of marriage; she retired as the Executive Secretary to the President at Hartzell Fan; a member of Bradford Presbyterian Church and also had served as the Past Treasurer and a session member; an active member of the Senior Citizens at Piqua YMCA, where she enjoyed playing cards and organizing card parties; and in previous years she loved going to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s events. Janet is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy DeMoss of Bradford, Melody & David Weaver of Greenville, Lisa DeMoss & James Collins of Centerville, OH; seven grandchildren, Heather & Scott Hole of Piqua, Robert Bagwell of Bradford, Josh & Teresa Bagwell of West Carrollton, Jerod & Pam Bagwell of Bloomington, IL, Tiffany & Ed Oswalt of Rossburg, OH, James T. Collins and Elisabeth Collins, both of Centerville, OH, two step-grandchildren Bradley & Ashley Weaver of Greenville, Ryan & Shannon Weaver of Greenville; 11 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; seven great-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sandra Dunwoody of Farmersville, Linda & Robert Vehorn of Arcanum; niece and several nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home with Pastors Mike Buker and Irwin Roberts officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
