Janet Rhea (Hughes) Stover

Janet Rhea (Hughes) Stover, age 90 of St. Marys, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Otterbein Nursing Home.  Janet was born in Greenville on October 1, 1931 to the (late) Irvin & Helen (Perkins) Hughes; a graduate of Ansonia High School, Class of 1949; retired from Kardon Industries, St. Paris as Customer Service Manager and had previously worked at Metalist Allen-A, Piqua.  During the retirement years, she enjoyed volunteering at the Air Force Museum, located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.  When not doing that, you would always find her outside tending to her beautiful flowers, feeding the birds, and loving all the animals that God brought to her. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Kubiak; son, Robert “Robbie” Lyme; sister, Judy Thomas; and brothers, Jim Hughes and Ronald Hughes.  Janet is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul E. Stover; son, Rodney Lyme of Springhill, FL, daughter and son-in-law, Luanne & Jim Leistner of Greenville; and step-daughter and her husband, Diane & Larry Polhamus of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren, Matt Crowell of Louisville, KY, Mike Crowell of Arcanum, Misti Crowell of Greenville, Andrea Shannon of Troy, Lauren Whidden of Troy, Jase Leistner of Troy, Maleah Stark of San Antonio, TX, Nicole Teshner of Cincinnati, Logan Lyme of San Diego, CA; step-grandson, Adam DuBois of Orlando, FL; 14 great-grandchildren, Kaiden Crowell, Tyler Crowell, Tyler Crowell, Kenley Shannon, Jaiden Leistner, Garett Leistner, Bryson Stark, Caylei Stark, Makenzie Stark, Elizabeth Lyme, Madison Lyme, Emma Lyme, Ty Teshner, & Ellie Teshner; brother, David Hughes of Celina; three sisters, Sharon Gilbert of Greenville, Debbie Molinaro of Toms River, NJ, Miriam Cain of Versailles; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Janet donated her body to the Wright State University Medical School.  Graveside Service and Interment of Cremains will be held at Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford at 11:00 AM Friday, April 14th.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
