Jessica LeAnne (Bucklew) Butt

Jessica LeAnne (Bucklew) Butt, age 37 of Piqua, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her home.  Jessica was born in Dayton on February 1, 1985 to Kevin & Lucy (Young) Bucklew; a graduate of Piqua High School; a member of the Sanctuary Church in Piqua; enjoyed cooking; was an avid football fan; enjoyed watching the show “COPS” and game shows; and truly loved the “apple of her eye”, her daughter, Aliyah.  Preceded in death by her father, Kevin Bucklew in 2007; grandfather, Woodrow Young; and aunt, Beth Ann Young.  Jessica is survived by her precious daughter, Aliyah Reign Butt at home; mother, Lucy Bucklew of Troy; brother, Greg Bucklew of Piqua; grandparents, Mary Young, Richard & Virginia Bucklew of Troy; aunts and uncles, Woody & Becky Young of Troy, Robert Young of Piqua, Nicole & Clinton Wright of Covington, Pam Bucklew of Huber Heights; Carol & Jimmy Fryman of Fletcher; great-aunt, Ella & Jerry Kenner of Lockington; father of their child, Steven Butt; many cousins, other relatives and many friends.  Funeral Service 2:00 PM Thursday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington.
