John Edward Patterson

John Edward Patterson, age 69 of Bradford, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Versailles Heath Care Center.  John was born in Piqua on July 11, 1950 to the (late) Forest Patterson and Mary K. (Balmert) Bruns; owner/operator of his own spouting company and was also a truck driver; member of AMVETS Post #66, Covington; member of VFW Post #4235, Covington, member of Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and riding his motorcycle.  Preceded in death by his father and mother; and step-father, Louis Bruns,  John is survived by his wife, Bonnie Patterson; three children, John R. Patterson of Bradford, Edward J. Patterson of Piqua, Jamie & husband, Vern Gudorf of Houston; two granddaughters, Alishia Patterson and Makayla Gudorf; four siblings, Henry “Hank” & Marie Patterson of Sidney, Doug & Sue Bruns of FL, Toni Bruns of FL, Ted Bruns of Sidney; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Private service at a later date.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
