Jon Wayne Eshleman

Jon Wayne Eshleman, age 82 of Covington, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Stillwater Nursing & Rehab, Covington.  Jon was born in Piqua on June 23, 1942 to the (late) Forest Raymond & KyraGene (Tyler) Eshleman; worked for the Village of Covington for 27 years on the Street Department; attended the Christian Family Fellowship, Tipp City; enjoyed going to Buffalo Jacks; and enjoyed going bowling at the Covington Bowling Alley when it was in town and bowled on two leagues; and loved life. Jon’s grandfather owned Eshleman Funeral Home, Covington years ago and Jon enjoyed reminiscing about his experiences at the funeral home. Jon also could be found at Covington Schools, watching the Junior High and High School athletes in their different sporting events and he was considered the #1 Covington BUCCS fan (before Scooby).  Jon is survived by his sister, Jill Olivera of Piqua; two nephews, Jon Richard & Alicia Olivera of Greenville, Aaron Michael Olivera & Ralph Wolfe of Columbus, OH; great-niece, Ariana Renee Olivera; other relatives and friends.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the BUCC Boosters.
