Joyce Elaine Ratcliff

Joyce Elaine Ratcliff, age 84 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at her home.  Joyce was born in Troy on February 19, 1942 to the (late) Carl B. & Mary E. (Grisso) Lehman.  She worked as a Mental Health Aide at Detmer Hospital and Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy; played the organ for church,  loved music, loved to knit and made many beautiful sweaters; and was an avid fan of the Florida State University Seminoles, including Burt Reynolds.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Larry Lee Ratcliff in 2024; grandson, Kyle Ratcliff; brothers and their spouses, Clyde Beryl & Gladis Lehman, Phillip & Gladys Jones, Robert & Peggy Jones, Donald & Becky Jones; and sister and brother-in-law, Dottie & Don Meronie.  Joyce is survived by her two children, April & Charles Browning of Bradford and Theodore “Ted” & Lisa Ratcliff of Troy; grandchildren, Wesley Browning, Callyn & Emily Ratcliff, Chase Browning, Deven Ratcliff, and Blythe Prine; granddaughter-in-law, Nicole Ratcliff; six great-grandchildren, Aubree, Maicee, Charlotte, Kyle, Axl and “G”; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 26th at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.
