Judith "Judy" Arlene Selanders

Judith “Judy” Arlene Selanders, age 82 of Covington, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Otterbein of Tipp City. Judy was born in Piqua on October 3, 1942 to the (late) Herbert & Laveral Ruth (Free) Franke; a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1960 and was a member of the Covington High School Marching Band and played violin in the orchestra; retired from Copperweld in Piqua; had previously done accounting for The Spot; she enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family; enjoyed watching I Love Lucy and Carol Burnett; and loved going out to eat..  Preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jim Franke.  Judy is survived by her husband, Ronald Leroy Selanders of 64 years; her two children, Carolyn Sue & Doug Fosnight of Piqua and Ron & Janeen Selanders of Covington; five grandchildren, Sara & Daryl Patrie, Brian & Robin Barhorst, Christopher Molina and fiancée, Miriam Matoe; Brooke & Brock Smith, Devan Selanders; five great-grandchildren, Henry & Nora Patrie, Bentley Barhorst, Brody & Briella Smith; great-granddog, Luna; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Jean & Mel Shane of Troy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Procession will line up Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington and go for a Graveside Service at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County.
