Kathleen Elifritz Obituary

Kathleen Sharon Elifritz, age 83, of Troy, Ohio (formerly of Bradford, Ohio) fell asleep in death on Monday, November 10, 2025 at VanCrest Upper Valley, Troy as a faithful member of the Piqua, Ohio, Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Kathy was born in Troy, Ohio on February 6, 1942 to the (late) John William Stine and Verna Elizabeth (Pearson) Stine Brubaker. Kathy retired in 1995 from Stanley/Vemco in Covington, Ohio after 21 years of loyal service. In her younger years, Kathy enjoyed sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren; canning vegetables; camping and fishing. She was a member of a country band where she performed with her husband, family, and friends. She appreciated music, especially playing piano, organ and bass guitar. Kathy’s many talents included pie making which was passed down to her through her mother’s Pearson family and where her pies were highly requested and enjoyed. Towards the end of her life and despite failing health conditions, Kathy continued her passion for her ministry by reaching the hearts of ones needing comfort through her Christian conduct and love for others. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Delmar Eugene Elifritz (2010); two grandsons, Jacob Elifritz and Tyler J. Baumgardner; and her six siblings, Lee Stine, Bill Stine, Barbara Boggs, Darlene Hall, Steve Stine and David Stine.  Kathy is survived by her six children and their spouses, Scott (Sue) Elifritz of Greenville, Ohio, Randy (Karen) Elifritz of Gettysburg, Ohio, Chris (Marilynn) Elifritz of Texas, Kelly Elifritz Mayberry of Troy, Ohio, David (Carole) Elifritz of Greenville, Ohio, and Trisha (Jason) Carter of Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  Visitation will be held at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford, Ohio on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with Brother Daniel Besecker officiating the funeral talk at 12 p.m which will be available by Zoom beginning with a video at 11:30 for the Zoom attendees.  Zoom ID: 2831643091, Passcode: 631789.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made online by visiting JW.ORG (https://donate.jw.org/en/USA/donation/WW).
