Kathleen E. Shively

Kathleen E. Shively, age 91 of Bradford, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026 at her home surrounded by her daughters, Brenda Shively, Amy Shively Long (Alan), Karen Shively, and Gayle Shively Voegele (Anthony).  Kathleen was born in Covington, Ohio on September 13, 1934 to the (late) Modest E. & Ruby P. (Wion) Yarian.  She was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1952; worked as a Deli Clerk at Patty’s IGA, Bradford; and retired with 26 years of service from Bradford Awards.  Kathleen was a member of the Bradford United Methodist Church, where she served as custodian, church treasurer, taught Sunday School, and was the official bell ringer.  Her favorite season was fall and she loved going to garage sales and doing crafts.  Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eldon E “Bump” Shively in 2006; and her sister and brother-in-law, Delores “Butch” & James Sampson.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Ashley Long Wilson, Eric Long (Kimmy Roberts), Amber Voegele Brown (Garrett), Hannah Voegele and Chance Voegele; great-grandchildren, Emma Wilson, Leah Wilson, Haley Wilson, Shae Wilson, and E.J. Parey; special friend, Steve Hocker; other family and friends.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family, at a later date.  A special thank you to Everheart Hospice for caring for mom.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
