Landon Murphy Thobe

Landon Murphy Thobe, age 13 of Bradford, the son of Jason Paul & Amber Dawn (Sell) Thobe, passed away at home with his family and dogs on Thursday, August 24, 2023.  Landon was born in St. Marys, OH on June 24, 2010; was an 8th Grade Student at Bradford Schools; baptized at Common Ground Christian Church, Bradford; a member of the Troy Bombers Baseball Organization; enjoyed fishing, hunting, a true “outdoors kid”; loved hanging out with his dad and his dogs.  Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Melody (Murphy) Baker, David Sell; step-grandfather, Charles Baker; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Thobe; and his dogs, Memphis and Trooper, who was his best friend.  Landon is survived by his parents, Jason & Amber of Bradford; two brothers, Levi Thobe and Leeum Thobe, both at home; grandfather, Doug Thobe of Minster and his friend, Joann Scott of Sidney; aunts & uncles, Alicia Graham of Covington, Abbagale & J. Lee Wilburn of Bradford, Benjamin Thobe of Minster, and Molly & Phil Reecer of Medina, OH; his dogs, Nova & Dolly; many cousins, special relatives and many friends.  Celebration of Life Service 11:00 AM Thursday at Common Ground Christian Church, Bradford with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating.  Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.  Visitation 5-9 PM Wednesday at Bradford School and again 10 AM until time of service at the church.  The family would like to extend their gratitude to family, friends, and their community, for the loving support they have received over the past two years.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Landon’s Account at Covington Savings and Loan, Bradford Branch or Greenville National Bank, Bradford Branch or to the parents.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
