Larry Eugene Cecil

Larry Eugene Cecil, age 83 of Covington, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Everheart Hospice, Wayne Hospital, Greenville.  Larry was born in Piqua on April 17, 1940 to the (late) Leonard & Alma Marie (McMaken) Cecil; owner/operator of LE Cecil Painting Service; a member of the “Buffalo Jack Coffee Clutch”; enjoyed working on, painting and racing cars; was a NASCAR fan; enjoyed going to the Saturday races at Eldora, Shady Bowl, and Winchester.  Preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ruth Zwiebel; and brother, Dick Cecil.  Larry is survived by his four children, Lori Miller & her fiancé, Carl Moyers of Piqua, Daren & Angie Cecil of Piqua, Angela & Bob Bim-Merle of Piqua; and Brad & Lisa Cecil of Covington; eight grandchildren, Maria & husband, Bryan Wysong, Kate & Kevin Roberts, Father Zach Cecil, Robert Bim-Merle, Mitchell Bim-Merle, Claire Bim-Merle, Kayleigh & husband, Austin Sell, and Ashley Cecil & fiancé, Trey Rittenhouse; seven great-grandchildren, Rosie, James, & Jack Wysong, Allen, Emmett, & Owen Roberts, and Bronson Sell; special friends, Gary & Karen Manson and Todd Owens; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Honoring Larry’s request, he wanted no services.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
