Linda Ann Catterlin

Linda Ann Catterlin, age 85 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family.  Linda was born in Versailles on February 20, 1941 to the (late) Victor & Marion (Trittschuh) Dunkel; a Versailles High School graduate, Class of 1959; had volunteered at GIVE in Covington for 12 years; retired from Upper Valley JVS as a cook and formerly worked for Sears and also babysat lots of kids.  She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Covington and a past member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998.  She enjoyed many things such as, baking and cooking, sewing, gardening flowers and vegetables, watching her hummingbirds and more recently eagles.  Linda loved making red Jello blocks for her great-grandchildren and visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Marcella Dunkel; sister, Laura Lou Spillman; her dog, Max and her grand puppy, Molly.  Linda is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jerry A. Catterlin; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie & Dave Rosengarten of Minster;  her son, David Catterlin of Portland, OR; three grandchildren, Jessica & Justin Marquez, Thea & Scott Langenkamp, and Abby & Seth Brigham; nine great-grandchildren, Cora & Isaac Marquez, Olivia, Levi, Claire & Hannah Langenkamp, Grace, Simon & Lucy Brigham; her siblings, Patricia Keller of Florida, Jim & Carol Dunkel of Tipp City, Vicki & Bob Wiltshire of Covington; special niece who helped with Linda’s care, Robin Whipp of Tipp City; her grand puppy, Nina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Covington.  Visitation 4-7 PM Monday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to GIVE, St. Johns Lutheran Church or Ohio Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be shared for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
