Lois “Ann” Wight, age 92 of Ansonia, formerly of Covington, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Everheart Hospice, Greenville. Ann was born in Piqua on June 22, 1932 to the (late) Hunter & Una (Brubaker) Levering; retired as Janitor of the Piqua Moose Lodge with many years of service; baptized and a member of Fields of Grace Church, Covington; past member of Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; Life member of the VFW Post #4235 Covington; Jerry & Ann loved to camp at Stillwater Beach Campgrounds at Bradford and Cozy Campgrounds at St. Marys; in her younger years, she enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetables; enjoyed listening to books on tape for the blind; and loved watching Judge Judy. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Wight in 2017; daughter, Debra Staudt; grandson, Jeremiah Bubeck; granddaughter, Sommer Dawn Basye; and two sisters, Gloria Poling and Jean Vegdes. Ann is survived by her three children, Jerry & Betsy Wight, Jan Wight, and Becky & Rick Bubeck; six grandchildren, Jack Staudt, Jason Staudt, Alisha & Brian Johnson, Preston & Dana Wight, Justin & Sonny Wight, and Austin & Gina Wight; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Colett; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. At Ann’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Everheart Hospice, Greenville. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
