Lowell Kissinger Obituary

Lowell Alan Kissinger Sr., age 75 of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at his home.  Lowell was born in Darke County on November 26, 1947 to the (late) Forrest Lee & Agnes Almareda (Barga) Kissinger; had previously worked as a Dump Truck Driver for Barratt Trucking; was baptized Catholic; a past member of the Troy Moose; enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Michigan and sailing in the pontoon; loved to play cards, especially Euchre; and he loved his whiskey.  Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Karl Larry Kissinger and Forrest Leon Kissinger.  Lowell is survived by his wife of 58 years, Penny (Tobin) Kissinger; three children and their spouses, Lowell Jr. & Rochelle Kissinger of Bradford, Larry & Becky Kissinger of Bloomer, Lori & Roy Seman of Bradford; four grandchildren, Lowell Zachary Kissinger, Valerie Kissinger and her fiancé, Hunter George, Kyle Kissinger, and R.J. and wife, Kayla Seman; two great-grandchildren, Braxten Seman and Brantlee Seman; sister, Lavonne “Cindy” Schaub of Russia; other relatives and friends.  Gathering of Family and Friends 10:00 – 11:00 AM Friday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with a procession to follow to Highland Cemetery, Covington with a Graveside/Mausoleum Service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice, Greenville.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
