Martha L. Higgins

Martha L. Higgins, age 93 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at her home.  Martha was born in Minster, OH on April 4, 1933 to the (late) Clarence & Josephine (Didier) Huelskamp; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1951; retired with 20 years of service at A.O. Smith; previously worked at Ebbert Seeds in Covington and A.O. Smith Credit Union.  Martha was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bradford; she was an avid golfer and enjoyed working in her yard.  Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Don Kenworthy Sr.; second husband, John Rimkus; two brothers, Daryl Huelskamp and Don Huelskamp; and brother-in-law, Dick Patty.  Martha is survived by her husband of 23 years, John R Higgins; her three children and spouses, Diana (Kenworthy) & Steve Etter of Dayton, Don Jr. & Andi Kenworthy of Covington, Dana & Denise Kenworthy of Troy; step-children, Jnyne Higgins of Piqua and Michele & Mike Palazzo of Powder Springs, GA; four grandchildren, Stephanie & Joey Hall, Amanda & Jon Miller, Chris & Amy Kenworthy, and Jessica & Ben Woods; eight great-grandchildren, Gentry, Ryker, Grayson, Campbell, Maggie, Nolan, Clayton and Jack; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Yvonne Patty of Bradford; two sisters-in-law, Helen Huelskamp of Versailles and Geri Huelskamp of Covington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Prayer Service Monday 12 Noon at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford   Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  Visitation Monday 10:00 AM  until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
