Mary Elizabeth Sargent

Mary Elizabeth Sargent, age 62 of Arcanum, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the Kettering Health Main Campus.  Mary was born in Troy on May 22, 1964 to Doyle Sargent and Mary Ann (Smith) Sargent; graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1982; and received her Associate Degree from Edison State College, Piqua.  Mary worked for many years at Silfex in Eaton; was dedicated at Common Ground Christian Church (Bradford Church of the Brethren); a proud member of the Bradford Community Club; a member of the Cute Girl Club; and an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns.  She enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables, crafting, going antiquing and collecting; euchre card player, and truly enjoyed her time at the lake with friends.  Preceded in death by her father, Doyle in 2015 and her brother, Matthew Sargent in 2026.  Mary is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Sargent of Eldorado, OH; step-children, Danielle & Peter Krause of Arcanum, Heather & Jack Preston of Gettysburg; step-grandchildren, Logan & Hannah Krause and Luke Krause; step-great-grandchildren, Liam & Hayden Krause; brother and sister-in-law, Nate & Sherri Sargent of Minster; sister and brother-in-law, Natalie & Jim Royer of Greenville; sister-in-law, Lora Sargent of Sidney; very best friend, Rhonda Dunlevy Miller of Bradford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends including all her good friends at Silfex.  Celebration of Life 6:00 PM Wednesday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Curtis Enis officiating.  Visitation 4:00 PM Wednesday until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bradford Community Club.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
