Mathew Carl Thompson

Mathew Carl Thompson, age 45 of Piqua, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019.  Mathew was born in Piqua on October 16, 1974 to James Eugene Thompson and Teresa (Herron) Putnam; a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1992; baptized Catholic and had previously attended St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Covington and more recently attended St. Boniface Catholic Church, Piqua.  Preceded in death by his father, James Eugene Thompson in 2004 and sister, Angela Ann Baker in 2003.  Mathew is survived by his mother and step-father, Teresa & Doc Putnam of Piqua; brother, Tom Thompson of Covington; step-sister, Stevie Nicole Putnam of Piqua; step-brother, Burt A. & Summer Putnam of Piqua; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  A Gathering of Family and Friends 2-4 PM Saturday, November 30th at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with a Memorial Service to follow.  Interment of cremains to be held at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
