Hands once busy are now still
His strength is gone, but not his will.
A busy man he could not stop
On the farm or in the shop.
All around folks did know,
That he was always on the go.
Serious nature, neighbor, friend
One on who you could depend.
Heard so seldom to complain
Live each day as it came.
Folks felt free to stop in and chat,
Mattered not where he was at.
Around the farm he loved to walk,
Doing chores or feeding stock.
Our hearts are heavy but keep your faith,
Because he is now in a better place.
His Memory Will Live on Forever!
