Michael Allen Heath

Michael Allen Heath, 73, of Piqua, Ohio passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Upper Valley Medical Center due to Covid-19 complications.  Michael was born April 23, 1948 to the late Lee and Louella Heath.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Roberta Heath (Wion) of Piqua, Ohio.  Michael was a 1967 graduate of Miami East High School, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.  Michael retired from Brown-Bridge in Troy, Ohio after 20 years of service (1970-1990).  Thereafter, he went on to work for Hiegel Electric in Tipp City, Ohio for many years.  Michael enjoyed fishing, visiting with neighbors, electrical work and small engine repairs. (He loved to buy low and sell high).  Preceded in death by his parents; former wife Sherry (Mines) Heath, brothers Richard (Dick) Heath, Robert (Bob) Heath, and Donald (Pete) Heath.  Michael was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mindy Heath and granddaughter, Hope Wilson.  Along with Roberta Heath, Michael is survived by his sister, Barbara (Barb) Heath, his brother, William (Bill) and Diane (Whitmer) Heath.  Michael is also survived by his children, Doug (Tara) Heath, Nikki (Scott) Wilson, James (Teresa) Ostendorf, Darren (Amy) Ostendorf and William Ostendorf.  Michael’s grandchildren include David Heath, Andrew Heath, Megan Wilson, Nick Wilson, Kelsey (Justin) Wyatt, Jake (Shawna) Ostendorf and Monica Ostendorf.  Michael’s great-grandchildren are Haley Wyatt, Bryson Aldridge, Carter Wyatt, Graham Wyatt, Lula Wyatt and Oliver Ostendorf.  He was truly loved, and will be deeply missed.  Private services will be held at the convenience of family.
