Miriam E. Cain, age 88 of Sidney, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Wilson Hospital, Sidney. Miriam was born in Greenville on January 31, 1936 to the (late) Irvin & Helen (Perkins) Hughes; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1954; a member and bartender for five years at Versailles Eagles; a member and bartender for 15 years at AMVETS Post #66, Covington; attended New Start Church of God, Celina; was a fan of the Denver Broncos; loved her dogs; loved gardening her rose bushes; and was an avid reader. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Jim Hughes, Ronnie Hughes, Dave Hughes, Judy Hughes, and Janet Stover; her special friend, Fred Drees. Miriam is survived by her six children, Brian Hudelson of Greenville, Jeff & Ruthann Hudelson of Bradford, Chris & Cindy Hudelson of Bradford, Stacy Hudelson of Meeker, Colorado, Jenn & Jon Cain-Kellems of Arcanum, Megan & Randy Winemiller of Sidney; 16 grandchildren, Ryan & Evie Hudelson, Kammi Hudelson & Luke Lingo, Casey Hudelson, Ben & Amy Hudelson, Brandon & Chastity Hudelson, Katrina Hudelson & Matt Herron, Joe Hudelson, Eli Newman, Keely Yantis & Chris O’Brien, Kory Yantis, Zoe Kellems, Mia Kellems, Devan, Travis, Celeste, & Rose Winemiller; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon Gilbert of Greenville and Debby & Bill Molinaro of Toms River, New Jersey; her dogs, Pandora, Khaleesi, Laney & Brutus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Saturday, December 7th at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford from 2-4 PM. Family has asked that everyone casual dress.
