Naomi Rebecca (Woods) Burch, 91, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2022, surrounded by her three daughters. Naomi was born in Bradford on November 19, 1930 to the late Iva (McGariety) and Walter Woods. She was married to her husband of 66 years, Douglas Burch, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters, Cyndie (Gene) Evilsizor, Myndie (Rick) Kronenberg, and Debbie (Kevin) Ganger. Naomi will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Matt Whitenack, Ben (Gina) Whitenack, Carrie (Jon) Arnold, Megan (Mike) Fulk, Nick (Kelly) Ganger, Leisha (Hal) Guterman, and Mark (Loren) Evilsizor. Naomi’s great-grandchildren, Ellie Arnold, Maddie, Mason and Miles Fulk, Jackson Ganger, Hannah and Evan Guterman, and Owen and Liam Evilsizor, all held a special place in her heart. Naomi was a member of the Bradford Church of the Brethren (Common Ground Christian Church) her whole life. She was an active member of the Bradford Firebells for many years, and worked for Delong Sportswear (Bradford Awards) for most of her life. Naomi and Doug loved to go camping, especially when they were accompanied by their grandchildren. Naomi had a love for animals. She loved her dogs and cats and was known to spoil her grand-dogs through the years. She made friends with the squirrels living in her tree, making sure they always had peanuts on her back porch. She had a fondness for birds, especially her humming birds and kept them well-fed also. Naomi and Doug were blessed with caring neighbors, who were always around to help them when needed. The family would like to extend our thank-you to a special neighbor, Kathy Weldy, and her daughters MacKenzie and Aspen, who have become a part of the family. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 20th at Common Ground Christian Church, 120 W. Oakwood Street, Bradford, OH with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19th from 5-8 PM at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.
