Norene L. Boltin, age 78 of Bradford, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at her home. Norene was born in Dayton on June 3, 1943 to the (late) Irvin Shock & Marie (Criegler) Shock Keihl; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1961; attended Columbia University; retired as Director of Patient Accounts from St. Elizabeth Hospital; had previously worked at Dettmer Hospital and Grandview Hospital, and was a hospital and doctor’s office consultant; previous owner of Village Pizza, Bradford for 15 years; member of the Bradford Firebells; member of the Bradford Community Club; President of Library Board for many years; an avid reader; loved taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids; and she “never met a stranger!” Preceded in death by her parents; step-mother and step-father, Ruth & Ralph Keihl; son, Steven Boltin; sisters, Mary Jane Stoler, Donna Brown, & Connie Gordon; half-brother, Harold J. Keihl; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Abernathy. Norene is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mickey D. Boltin; her three children, Michelle Boltin & Leslie Johnson of Wilmington, NC, Michael & Florence Boltin of Bradford, Christina & Michael Barnhart of Bradford; nine grandchildren, Josh Boltin, Brittany Boltin, Nicholas & Jessica Cain, Brandon & Chelsey Cain, Chelsea & Scott Rhinehart, Brent Thomas, Bryce Thomas, Baylee Boltin, & Elizabeth Moorman; three great-grandchildren, Emmalee Cain, Jacob Cain, & Izabella Boltin; sister-in-law, Carol Boltin Greene of Piqua; special nephews, Ralph Craig Stoler and Michael Todd Boltin; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many special and dear friends. Celebration of Life Service 3:00 PM Saturday, October 9th at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Visitation 1:00 PM Saturday until time of service.
