Norma Jean Johnson

Norma Jean Johnson, age 86 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County.  Norma was born in Piqua on May 24, 1939 to the (late) Oral & Adaline (Poling) Sullenberger; was a graduate of Piqua High School, Class of 1957; worked for many years in the kitchen at Koester Pavilion, Troy; a homemaker and a farmer’s wife; loved working in her flower beds, doing gardening, and mowing her grass.  Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, who she married on October 10, 1959, Ronald M. Johnson Sr. in 2015; son, Ronald M. Johnson Jr. in 2005; and two brothers, Ronald L. Sullenberger and William Sullenberger.  Norma is survived by her two children, Stephen Johnson of Covington and Jeanette & Mark Diehl of Sidney; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Wayne & Kelli Johnson and their children, Gabrielle, Mason, and Sadie Johnson of Anna, OH, David & Heather Johnson and their children, Justine and Renee Johnson, Seth and Emily Daly, Evelynn and Ava Schaefer of Covington, Joey & Kayla Johnson and their children, Weston and Jensen Johnson of Bradford, Aaron & Linda Diehl and their children, Brennan and Jasmine Diehl and Tayler Storehalder, Kristina & Drew Wiley and their children, Grayson, Abigail, and Olivia Wiley of Troy.  Private Services.
