Patricia "Pat" Anne Karnehm

Patricia “Pat” Anne Karnehm, age 84, of Troy, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Covington.  She was born on March 13, 1939 in Miami County, OH to the late John E. and Helen L. (Horner) Wion.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ronald Wayne Karnehm in 2006.

Pat is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Terri Meyer of Troy and Jackie and Butch Easter of Trotwood; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Don Diley of AZ; grandchildren, Lindsay and Ron Fraley of Covington, Matt and Danielle Meyer of Pleasant Hill, Chelsea and Chante Easter of Fishers, IN and Rachel and Maya Easter of Dayton; great grandchildren, Tyler Fraley, Abigail Fraley, Ava Meyer, Alyvia Meyer and Ellison Easter and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pat was a graduate of Miami Central School in 1957.  She was a nurse for 35 years at Dettmer Hospital.  Pat was a member of the Union Baptist Church.  She was a member of a card club.  Pat enjoyed tole painting and painted many things for her family which they called PK originals.  She loved spending time with family, baking, gardening and reading.  She enjoyed fishing trips with family and visiting Gatlinburg with friends.  In later years, Grace, her dog, was her constant companion.

Service will be held at 11:00AM on June 9, 2023 at Bridges-Stocker- Fraley Funeral Home in Covington.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Troy Main Street for downtown concert events.
