Charles “Randy” Mead Jr., age 66 of Gettysburg, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Wayne Hospital, Greenville. Randy was born in Greenville on March 19, 1956 to the (late) Charles J. & Connie K. (Studebaker) Mead; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1974; received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Rio Grande University; retired from Honda, Anna Engine Plant; a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bradford; enjoyed golfing, woodworking, camping, and fishing, but most of all, he loved watching his grandkids perform in their activities. Preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Rosemary S. Mead in 2016. Randy is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Ralanda “Randi” Sue & Micheal Hess of Versailles, Heather & Travis Cooper of Sidney; five grandchildren, McKayla Hess, Madyson Hess, O’Keefe Cooper, Dublin Cooper, & Killarney Cooper; sister and brother-in-law, Regina & Jerry Rosengarten of Troy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Adrain & Phyllis Mead of Bradford, Terry & Rhonda Mead of Bradford; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 7th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bradford with Father Ned Brown officiating. Interment Gettysburg Cemetery. Gathering of Family and Friends 4-8 PM Tuesday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to plant a tree in Randy’s memory or the Bradford Community Club Poker Runs.
