Richard "Rich" Maschino Obituary

Richard “Rich” O. Maschino, age 65 of Bradford, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  Rich was born in Seymour, Indiana on December 8, 1956 to the (late) Arthur V. & Lavonne (Williams) Maschino; a graduate of Mississinawa Valley High School, Class of 1975; retired as a truck driver from Classic Carriers, Versailles with 31 years of service, earning the National Driver of the Year Award in 2007 and two times Ohio Driver of the Year Award and had driven over 3 million miles; previously worked at Dinner Bell, Troy with 13 years of service; baptized Catholic and attended various churches; loved to fish; a truly outdoors man who enjoyed mowing his lawn and landscaping; taking care of the pool; and grilling on every grill he had; he enjoyed playing his guitar, banjo, mandolin and listening to music; loved traveling with Tina to Gatlinburg; he was the biggest supporter of his grandchildren’s sports and he had a great love for the game of basketball; he always had the biggest heart and would take care of everyone else; and he had the “best smile ever!”  Rich is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tina L. (Black) Maschino; son and daughter-in-law, Craig & Danielle Maschino of Troy; daughter, Brandy Maschino of Dayton; seven grandchildren, Jordan Maschino & fiancée, Jamie Detro, Kleyton Maschino and girlfriend, Daja Wilson, Makenzee Maschino, Mickayla & husband, Christopher Doseck, Kassie Cline, Michael Cline, and Eriq Cline; two great-grandchildren, Ellie Doseck and Izayiah Pogue; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl & Matt Huth of Indianapolis, Diane & Tim McCullough of Cincinnati, Karen & Jim Hayes of Indianapolis, Debbie & Arnie Everett of Daleville, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Chaplain Todd Reish officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.  If desired, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Epilepsy Foundation.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
