Richard “Rick” Eugene Shock, age 71 of Moraine, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Kettering Medical Center. Rick was born in Dayton on October 29, 1950. He was raised by his loving parents, Harvey & Dorothy (Ray) Shock; he was a graduate of Bethel High School, Class of 1968; was a mechanic for RSC Company; enjoyed working on cars and woodworking; played the piano; enjoyed watching NASCAR and WWE and was an avid Hulk Hogan fan. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Becky Furlong. Rick is survived by his wife of 16 years, Susan (Barker) Shock; two children, Richard & Karen Shock of Covington, Amanda & Matthew Mosier of Tipp City; step-children, Angela Zornes of West Milton, Mike Shock of Dayton, Ambir & Jeff Steinbrunner of Dayton, Autumne & Shaun Storer of Dayton, Kimberly & Ty Ritzy of Morrow, OH, Randy & April Smallwood of Erie, PA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
