Robert L. Collins, Jr.

Robert L. Collins Jr, fondly known to many as “Bob” or “Veggie Bob,” passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024 at the age of 81, after a battle that he fought with resounding strength and resilience.  Born on January 31, 1943 in Piqua, Ohio.  Bob was a kind soul with an infectious sense of humor, always bringing joy to those around him.

Bob’s love for life was evident in everything he did.  He had a passion for dancing, singing-especially Elvis tunes-and fishing.  His favorite place to be was St. Marys Lake in Celina, Ohio, where he not only sold fresh produce but also made countless friends over the years.

Bob is survived by his loving daughter, Annie Collins, and his faithful dog, Bella.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Collins Sr. and Anne (Weldy) Collins.

Bob’s family and friends will cherish the many wonderful memories he left behind, remembering his warmth, laughter, and love for the simple joys of life.

Visitation 6-8 PM Tuesday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home.  Funeral Service 12 Noon Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Gannon officiating.  Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.
