Robert "Bob" Leroy Snyder

Robert “Bob” Leroy Snyder, age 82 of Lewisburg, TN, formerly of Russia, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at his daughter’s home in Tennessee.  Bob was born in Troy on August 7, 1943 to the (late) Clarence & Isabel (Gross) Snyder; was a high school graduate of Miami East, Class of 1961; was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during Vietnam; a member of Mid-County Church of Christ, Troy; member of AMVETS Post #66, Covington; a self -employed remodeling contractor; worked at Kenkoat as an Electrostatic Painter for four years; an avid fisherman; enjoyed woodworking and gardening vegetables.  Preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children, Linda Snyder in 2014; special companion of 35 years, Mary Voskuhl in 2025; sister, Linda Stewart; and brothers, James Snyder, Edward Allen Snyder, David Snyder, and Tom Snyder.  Bob is survived by his two children, Sue Lynn Adams of Lewisburg, TN and Robert Franklin Snyder of Lewisburg, TN; step-daughters, Sharon & Steve DeWeese of Ft. Loramie and Stephenie Voskuhl of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Leslie, Neil, Blake, Taylor, Bryon Jackson, Craig Voskuhl, Adam, and Morgan ; eight great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Bruce Emerick of Troy; two brothers and sister-in-law, John Snyder of Troy and Jerry & Marlene Snyder of Troy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 3rd   a Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with procession to follow to Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington where Military Honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad.  Visitation 12:00 Noon until time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
