Robert "Bud" E. Goings Sr.

Robert (Bud) E. Goings, Sr., age 84, of Bradford, Ohio, passed away on September 13, 2024.  He was born on October 1, 1939, to the late Robert & Ruth (Wackler) Goings.

Bud is survived by three sons: Robert Goings, Jr., of Springfield; Bart (Anne) Goings of Troy; Brad (Jennifer) Goings of Blue Springs, MO; son-in-law: Clay Spencer of Bradford; grandchildren: Ashley Goings of Christiansburg, VA; Layne (Andrew) Johnston of Troy; Michael Goings of Jackson, SC; Aaron (Heidi) Goings of Independence, MO, Megan Garten of Lee’s Summit, MO; Ian Goings of Blue Springs, MO; Fischer Spencer of Bradford; Scout Spencer of Bradford; and nine great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Goings; daughter, Brandy Spencer; brother, Arthur Goings; and sister, Marie Beam.

Bud loved the farm on which he was born, raised, and eventually owned.  Classified as Ohio Century Farm, it has been in the Goings’ family since 1906.  Bud enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, traveling, and wintering in Florida.  Bud retired from BF Goodrich after a long, successful career of over 30 years.
