Roy Sowards Obituary

Roy S. “Steve” Sowards, age 70 of Covington, passed away on November 24, 2022 at the Stillwater Nursing Home, Covington. He was born on August 18, 1952 in Richmond, VA.

Steve is survived by his two children; Steven (Sandra) Sowards and Stephanie Sowards; four grandchildren; and several siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother; one step-brother; and step-sister.

Steve was a longtime truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing and traveling the country.
