Ruth A. Holsapple

Ruth A. Holsapple, age 86 of Bradford, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.  Ruth was born in Darke County on February 18, 1940 to the (late) Charles & Evelyn (Keller) Baumgardner; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1959; a homemaker; previously worked for Bradford Awards and FRAM.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and loved bingo.  Ruth enjoyed watching TV, especially Food Network, Wheel of Fortune and Price Is Right; but most of all she loved her family.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 36 years, Lloyd “Bud” Cecil Holsapple in 2002; baby boy, Danny Holsapple; two brothers and sister-in-law, Kenny & Wilma Baumgardner and Chuck Baumgardner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna & Charles Beverly and Janet & EJ Cissner; and brother-in-law, George York.  Ruth is survived by her loving daughter, Amy Mitchell of Bradford; two grandchildren, Brandon Mitchell & Jena Mangen and Dylan & Deanna Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law, Rex & Sherry Baumgardner of Union City, OH; sister, Charlene York of FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service 7:00 PM Friday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Visitation 5:00 PM Friday until time of service.  Private Interment at a later date.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
