Ruth Eileen (Wagaman) Seas

Ruth Eileen (Wagaman) Seas, born September 30, 1937 in Bradford, Ohio to William O. and Mary M. Wagaman. Ruth passed January 22, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. She attended and graduated from Bradford Schools, where she met then married her high school sweetheart, Ronald E. Seas. Together they raised and survived by four children: Candace L. Simmons (Steve), Scott E. Seas, Bryan E. Seas (Paula) and Crystal A. Dodson (Devin). Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren (Marcus Seas (Katie and children Brody, Lucy and Henry), Matthew Seas (Samantha), Stephen  Simmons (Melissa and children Owen, Austin and Adelaide), Lauren Seas, Logan Seas and Myles Dodson) and survived by her sister Margaret Ellen (Wagaman) Wick (Don and children Timothy (Brenda) and James (Diana)), and preceded in death by sister Nancy.
In high school, she played clarinet in orchestra and marching band, and was head majorette her senior year. Ruth had an extensive banking career that saw her through to her top position in management for NBD Banks. Ruth was an active person with hobbies including sewing, playing piano and organ, and was a member of the Scirrosis book club, and participated in many activities with her children through the years, including being a Girl Scout Leader. Services will be held at Stocker Fraley Funeral Home at 131 W. Oakwood St., Bradford, OH at 3:00 PM Saturday with Pastor Bob Bitner officiating.  Visitation from 1:00 PM Saturday until time of service.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
