Sandra Lee Abel, age 81 of Covington, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  Sandra was born in Yorkshire, Ohio on September 7, 1943 to the (late) Arthur & Mary (Creager) Beck; a graduate of Versailles High School, Class of 1961; a charter member of Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; retired as a hairdresser in her shop, Hair Depot, Covington; enjoyed watching birds, traveling, antiques, and flea markets buying and selling.  Preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Sam and brother, Arthur Beck Jr. Sandra is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan & Velma Strait and Shanon & Nicole Strait; grandchildren, RaGina, Dave, and Steven, and Jake Strait; two great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Andrew; brother and sister-in-law, Larry & Diana Beck; companion, James McCullough; nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington at 7:00 PM Monday.
