Sandra Elaine Bridges

Sandra Elaine Bridges, age 83 of Covington, passed away peacefully October 3, 2024 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County.  Sandra was born in Lima on October 1, 1941, to the late Mary (Leuenberger) and Ralph LaRue of LaFayette, Ohio.  She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, and mother.  Sandra is survived by her husband of over 58 years, Jerry Bridges of Covington; her two children; Scott Bridges (Melissa Johnson) of Bradford, OH; Michelle & Jim Cain of Springboro, OH; sisters Joan Dibble of Traverse City, MI; Karen Brewington of Fresno, CA and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth David LaRue & sister Jeanne Ellen LaRue.

Upon graduating from LaFayette Jackson High School, she attended beauty school in Lima, OH.  She was a stay-at-home mother before working at Buckeye Insurance and Delphi GM.  She was a member of the Oakland Church of the Brethren, Bradford and attended True Life Church of Greenville.  She loved gardening, music, cooking and most of all her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at True Life Church (5990 US 36, Greenville, OH 45331) with Pastor Chris Barhorst officiating on Saturday, October 12th.

Visitation is from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and funeral service is from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
