Sandra "Sandy" "Twink" L. Hoffert

Sandra “Sandy” “Twink” L. Hoffert, age 81 of Covington, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Troy.  Sandra was born in Piqua on September 10, 1943 to the (late) Robert & Emma (Deeter) Van Hise; was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1961; retired as a Broker from Sumark Trucking, Versailles with 10 years of service; formerly worked for Dick Lavy Trucking, Bradford and Rudy Elevator, Covington; attended Covington Presbyterian Church; member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; enjoyed trips with her husband, Bill on their motorcycle and camping at Grand Lake St. Marys; loved to watch The Golden Girls on tv; and liked to watch Murder Channels on tv also. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, William “Bill” Hoffert in 2010; and sister, Cynthia Van Hise.  Sandra is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Dave Hoffert of Covington, Rob & Melinda Hoffert of Houston; two grandchildren, Emily Hoffert, William Hoffert and significant other, Brittany Diltz; three great-grandchildren, Ethyn Hoffert and significant other, Sadie Willis, Emmit Hoffert, Eliot Hoffert; great-great-grandchild, Braxton Hoffert and one on the way; sister, Jenny Moss of Greenville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Private Services at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
