Sharon L. Dunlevy, age 79 of Russells Point, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Village Green in Greenville. Sharon was born in Dayton, OH on April 12, 1943 to the (late) Oscar & Edna (Erler) Armstrong Shepherd; was a loving homemaker; a member of the Common Ground Christian Church (formerly Bradford Church of the Brethren); a member of the Indian Lake Moose #1533 and Eagles Aerie #3615; member of the Ladies Auxiliary AMVETS Post #66, Covington; liked to read and do crafts; enjoyed going to Florida as a Snowbird, in the winter; enjoyed her flower garden; loved having company; loved to dance and was considered “the life of the party”; and most of all she loved being around her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Robert Shepherd; husband of 61 years, Norman H. Dunlevy, who passed away December 10, 2021; sisters, Martha Gurrant, Victoria Baggett, and Terry Brandenburg; and brothers, Bill Armstrong, Robert Shepherd and Paul Shepherd. Sharon is survived by her six children, James (Victoria) Dunlevy of Bradford, Tony (Diana) Dunlevy of Newport, OH, Don (Amy) Dunlevy of Gettysburg, Jerry (Kelly) Dunlevy of Bradford, Kevin Dunlevy of Bradford, April (Jeff) Blair of Piqua; 15 grandchildren, Ashley Weldy, Laci Dunlevy, Keisha Dunlevy & Wayne, Katie (Brian) Wombold, Logan (Brittany) Dunlevy, Madison (Kyle) Siefker, Molly Dunlevy, Mallory Dunlevy, Mia Dunlevy, Ryan (Krissy) Dunlevy, Brooke Dunlevy & Hadith, Melania (David) Boninsegna, Matthew Blair, Dylan Blair, and Carly Blair; 16 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry (Deb) Armstrong of Washington; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Shepherd of NC and Dorothy Shepherd of CO; her dog, Miss Lilly; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday, September 2nd at Common Ground Christian Church, Bradford with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. Visitation 11 to 1:00 PM Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Common Ground Christian Church or Bradford Community Club.
