Sheila Kay Sage

Sheila Kay Sage, age 60 of Piqua, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at her home.  Sheila was born in Bradford on March 11, 1965 to the (late) David Sr. & Helen Joan (Smith) Lear.  She was a graduate of Upper Valley JVS, Class of 1985; had worked at Veneer in Piqua, Hartzell Air Movement, and Stanley in Covington.  She enjoyed doing crafts and painting; and loved older shows and movies, especially The Waltons.  Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jacob Lear and David Lear Jr.  Sheila is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary Lee Sage; three children and their spouses, Christopher & Jessica Sage of Conover, Stephane & Jim Frank of Spencerville, OH, and Steven Sage of Piqua; two grandchildren, Hunter Meier and Rylan Frank; 11 brothers and sisters, Helen Lavins of Bradford, Robert Lear of Piqua, Nancy & Tom Kesler of Piqua, Joyce Lear of Piqua, Connie Wynn of Piqua, Bill Lear of Houston, Tom Lear of Piqua, Lora Nichols of NC, Amy & Tim Smith of Covington, Deanne & Wendel Mead of Bradford, and John & Rebecca Lear of Sidney; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  Visitation 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Saturday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.  Procession will line up at the funeral home and go in procession to Oakland Cemetery, Bradford where there will be a graveside service.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
