Shelly Hedrick Obituary

Shelly Renee Hedrick, age 53 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Soin Medical Center.  Shelly was born in Greenville on October 4, 1970 to Denny Copeland and Kathy (Drieling) Abney; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1989 and graduated from Edison with her Nursing Degree and became a Registered Nurse; worked for PAM Health Rehabilitation in Miamisburg; a member of Ginghamsburg Church; loved to go to the beach and ride roller-coasters; she loved animals, especially dogs, cows, goats, and dolphins; but mostly, she loved her kids and grandkids.  Preceded in death by her father, Denny Copeland; maternal grandparents, Bruce & Shirley Drieling; and paternal grandparents, Jim & Joanne Copeland.  Shelly is survived by her mother, Kathy Abney of Bradford; her three children, Zachary & Kaitlyn Hedrick of Troy, Brandon & Megan Hedrick of St. Paris, and Emily Hedrick & Kameron Zimmer of Vandalia; brother and sister-in-law, Travis & Lori Copeland and their children, Connor and Carley Copeland of Lebanon, OH five grandchildren, Rees Hedrick, Maddex Hedrick, Anakin Hedrick, Ellie Hedrick, and Nolan Hedrick; her beloved dogs, Toby Joe and Ila Grace; aunt and uncle, Gloria & Rick Harmon of Bloomer; other relatives and many friends.  Celebration of Life Service 2:00 PM Saturday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.  Visitation 12 Noon Saturday until time of service at the funeral home.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
