Shirley A. Frantz

Shirley A. Frantz, age 83 of Bradford, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Troy.  Shirley was born in St. Marys on July 10, 1939 to the (late) Joseph Arthur & Mabel Irene (Schellenbarg) Punches; retired from Stanley, Covington with 22 years of service; enjoyed baking and cooking for the family; loved to drive her car around town visiting her grandkids; and loved watching her grandkids in their sports.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John E. Frantz in 1977; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Frantz; brother, Joe Punches; and nephew, Robert Punches.  Shirley is survived by her four children, Terri Miller & John Cruse of Bradford, John “Steve” Frantz of Bradford; Todd & Jessie Frantz of Bradford, Jimmy & Sandy Frantz of Bradford; nine grandchildren, Skip & Sommer Miller, Ryan & Haleigh Miller, John & Logan Frantz, Nikki & Brent Harleman, Erica Barga, Daryl & Sarah Frantz, Andrea & Billy Garman, Aaron & Alaina Frantz, Alex & Bessie Frantz; 25 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Nancy Punches of Bradford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral 12 Noon Thursday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating.  Interment Brock Cemetery, Versailles.  Visitation 10:00 AM Thursday until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County or Bradford Community Club.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
