Obituary

Shirley A. Lambert, age 68 of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.  Shirley was born in Troy on December 13, 1954 to the (late) Richard Durst Sr. & Estella (Milligan) Durst Lanier; a graduate of Franklin Monroe High School, Class of 1973; worked as a Nurses Aide for 29 years at Rest Haven Nursing Home; a member of Pleasant View Missionary Church, Greenville; loved to garden and can; do cross-stitch; loved to sew and did repairs for nursing home patients; she loved making other people happy and had a truly selfless heart.  Shirley is survived by her children, Brenda Wolfe and Michael Null of Kansas City, Missouri, Richard & Tara Lambert of Greenville; two grandchildren, Casey & Cheyenne McGuffie and Kyle Taylor; her siblings, Sheryl Durst of Greenville, Richard Durst of Franklin, OH, David Durst of Laura, Jane Broyles of Bethel, OH, Sally & Roy Marcum of Columbus, OH; her beloved dog, Rosie Marie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service 1:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Pleasant View Missionary Church, 5231 Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road, Greenville with Ted Hemmerich officiating.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
