Susanne Rasor, age 94 of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Brookdale of Greenville. Susanne was born in Bradford on June 28, 1930 to the (late) William & Marie (Brannan) Elson; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1948; retired with 23 years as a Rural Mail Carrier; a member of Harris Creek Church of the Brethren, Bradford; past member of the Bradford Senior Citizens; past member of the Good Sam Camping Club and she enjoyed camping with her family; enjoyed watching her soap operas; loved playing card games such as, peanut and euchre; most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Paul Stephan, who was killed in action in the Korean War in 1951; her second husband of 63 years, Ottis Rasor in 2016; stillborn infant son; two sisters, Alberta Kerns and Mary Alice Elson; and brother, William Elson Jr. Susanne is survived by her children, daughter and son-in-law, Jamie & Gary Knick; sons and daughters-in-law, Kent & Chris Rasor, Nevin & Jemma Rasor, Vaughn & Lisa Rasor, Marlin & Chris Rasor; 13 grandchildren, Sarah & Aaron Seidel, twins, Jennifer & Chris Courter, Jessica & Ben Guggenbiller, Bart Rasor, Noah & Hillary Rasor, Ben Rasor, Mathew & Lauren Rasor, Kristen Rasor, Josh Rasor, Grant & Monique Knick, Lara & Dusty Brunner, Caleb Knick, Wyatt & Quincy Knick; great-grandchildren, Hayden Miller, Lexi & Remington Brunner, McKayla Simmons, Bailey, Owen, & Max Courter, Greg & Ted Guggenbiller, Codi Rasor, Jacob, Easton & Levi Rasor, Carson Hartley, Stanley & August Seidel, and Finnegan Stone Rasor; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11th at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Aaron Hostetter officiating. Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice, Greenville.
