Virginia "Ginny" E. Britton

Virginia “Ginny” E. Britton, age 71 of Covington, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  Virginia was born in Troy on June 20, 1950 to the (late) Charles William Sr. & Mary Jane (Hoblit) Ellis; worked for RT Industries as a Janitor at the I-75 Rest Area for 30 years; attended Fields of Grace, Covington; enjoyed working crossword puzzles and setting out on the front porch watching traffic.  Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles William Ellis Jr.  Virginia is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary Lee Britton; her Yorkie, Buddy; her four sisters, Gloria Kohli of Waverly, TN, Doris Fender of Piqua, Charlotte & Dusty Herron of Covington, Mikie & Mike Akins of Covington; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Memorial Service 11:00 AM Thursday, February 10th  at Fields of Grace, Covington with Pastor Don Solin officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM Thursday until time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with Virginia’s final expenses.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
