Vivian Virginia (Diehl) Crist, age 96 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City. Vivian was born on August 9, 1925 in Frederick County, Maryland to the (late) Charles Malcolm & Mary (Burns) Diehl. She was a homemaker and she became a member of the Old Order German Baptist Church, Covington District on October 5, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Ezra Crist in 1983; infant granddaughter, Megan Linden; two brothers and wives, Charles E. & Ruth Diehl, William & Edith Diehl; brother-in-law, David Garber; and in-laws, Alva & Martha Crist, Floyd & Marge Crist, Ralph & Edna Crist, Everett & Esther Crist. Vivian is survived by her children, Marion & Alfred Johnson of Cable, OH, Jacqueline & Stephen Lohr of SC, D. Edward & Maria Crist of Troy, Dean & Virginia Crist of GA, Jane & Fredrick Linden of Troy; 10 grandchildren, Jerry (Daedra) Lohr, Jeff (Catherine) Lohr, Jessica (Doug) Wolfe, Melinda Crist, Michelle McManus, Sarah (Caleb Eggers) Crist, William (Micaela Deming) Crist, Ryan Crist, Laura (Sydney) Barnard, & Christopher Linden; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Eleanor Garber of Bradford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Oakgrove Old German Baptist Church, Bradford. Visitation 2-6 PM Monday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford and again at 9:00 AM Tuesday until time of service at the church.
