William “Bill” Joseph Trittschuh, age 79 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Storypoint Troy. Bill was born in Miami County on February 11, 1941 to the (late) Adam & Florence (Chappie) Trittschuh; retired from Crane Pump, Piqua; previously worked for 18 years at Decker Meat, Piqua; attended St. John’s Lutheran Church, Piqua; enjoyed attending horse sales and horse pleasure riding; a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers; in past years had enjoyed farming; loved spending time with his grandkids; and he was an amazing single father who raised two teenage daughters. Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Martha Monnin. Bill is survived by his two loving daughters, Kimberly Hoehne of Greenville and Sandy & Jeff Simmons of Sidney; five grandchildren, Heather Trittschuh, Justin & wife, Kristen Trittschuh, Kendra Reier, Joseph Reier, Donald “Chance” Luther & Mekaila Venrick; 10 great-grandchildren, Riley, Kaden, Sylis, Elias, Greyson, Zander, Brayden, Maggie, Kazlee, Nova & Alyvia; brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Edna Trittschuh; sister, Marjorie Campbell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gathering of family and friends Saturday 3-5 PM at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford. Cremains will be buried at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
