William E. "Bill" Spencer

William E. “Bill” Spencer, age 84, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on September 16, 2023.  He was born on May 10, 1939 in Darke County to the late Harry R. and Ruth L. (Miller) Spencer.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Gary (Nona) Spencer of Bradford; daughter: Patricia Ann Spencer of Greenville; stepchildren: Sue (Joe) LeMaster of Arcanum, Linda (Mark) Guthrie of Sidney, Nancy (Mike) Rucker of Anna and Jon (Debbie) Phillips of Columbus; numerous step grandchildren and longtime girlfriend: Judith Fritz of Greenville.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years: Bessie L. Spencer; second wife of 14 years: Winifred Spencer and sister: Marilyn Clack.

He was employed with Corning Company for 37 years.  He enjoyed traveling, collecting John Deere toy tractors, listening to music and being close with his cat, Tommy.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Stocker Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with interment to follow in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.  Visitation will be held from 6:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
