Helen Louise Swartz

Helen Louise Swartz, age 83, of Piqua, formerly of Bradford, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  She was born April 25, 1935 in Pleasant Hill to the late Wilbur & Nancy (Clutts) Kesler; worked as an aid at nursing homes; attended Trinity Worship Center; loved playing with her grandbabies, listening to christian music, drinking lemonade, eating Neapolitan ice cream; & was a sweet, kind & generous lady.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Swartz; an infant child; 2 sons, Daniel Swartz & Jimmy Taylor; daughter, Sandy Swartz; 6 brothers, Bob, Harold, Morris, Don, Gary & John Kesler; sister, Mary Catherine Kesler; brothers-in-law, Robert Fogt & Cleo Die; & sister-in-law, Debbie Kesler.

Helen is survived by 4 sons, Albert (Jewell) Swartz of Piqua, Frank (Doris) Kesler of Piqua, Don (Janet) Taylor of Springfield, Billy (Terry) Swartz of Greenville; 3 daughters, Nancy (Jay) Birt of Piqua, Marry (Ron) Kritzer of Greenville, Rose (Jim) Hobbs of Richmond, IN; 2 brothers, Chuck (Lori) Kesler of Bradford, Marvin Kesler of Piqua; 6 sisters, Pearline (Eldean) Worley of KY, Betty (Willard) Cole of Piqua, Debbie (John) Lee of Covington, Dorothy Fogt of Sidney, Mildred Fogt of Columbus, Shirley North of Covington; sisters-in-law, Lucille Kesler of Piqua, Barb Kesler of New Carlisle, Vonda Kesler of Covington & a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 11am at Trinity Worship Center, 622 Gordon St, Piqua, OH with Pastor Brian Hamilton officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9-11am Tuesday at the church. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
